History

The Fred E. Turner Company was originally named Stewart School Supply Company which was established by A.J. Turner and his son Fred Turner in 1913. In 1928, Fred Turner changed the name to the Fred E. Turner Company. He died in 1967, leaving the business to his son Al. Charles Bloom started working for Fred Turner in 1949 and then for Al after Fred’s death. Charlie purchased the company in 1979 from Al and was the owner of the business until his death in November of 1999. Eric Bloom started working for his father in November of 1983 after working for Raychem Corporation as a Design Supervisor. Eric is now the sole owner of the company.23223223
